Understanding Open Access (S006) In-Person
Open access publication is now integral to scholarly communication and many research funders now require publications developed through their funding to be freely available online. In addition, HEFCE requires all journal articles and conference proceedings to be made open access within 3 months of acceptance for publication. This session will present the open access requirements that academics need to comply with as well as the support available at Northumbria to ensure OA compliance.
