Building Academic Collaborations with Industry: Introducing Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and Maximising Impact from Collaborative Research In-Person

Hazel Juggins will give a brief overview of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and how these can be used as a vehicle to build collaboration in a suitable project structure.

Understanding the research impact assessment process is essential to structure the collection case study material alongside research.  If the right measures are put in place at the outset of a project, then the outcomes will be enhanced by the collection of quality impact metrics and case study information.

This session will look at the types of impact that was assessed for the REF 2014 and the anticipation of the type of impact assessment that will be undertaken in REF 2021.  It will identify good practice in the collection of data and discuss how on-going monitoring can help with reporting and the creation of compelling case studies.

The programme is designed as an overall framework; it is important that if allocated a place then you attend as many sessions as possible.  If you are interested in attending this programme please speak to Hugh Rhodes at the contact below.
