Workshop: Ageing Theme In-Person

We are hosting two interactive related to Ageing Innovation: People, Places and Spaces. Workshops are open to all academic colleagues across the University whose work is relevant to various aspects of Ageing.

(We are hosting two, in order to maximise the coverage. It isn’t necessary for you to attend both.)

The workshops are part of an ongoing initiative to bring together colleagues from across the University and gather the breadth of research related to Ageing at Northumbria university, in preparation for large funding opportunities (Strength in Places and InnovateUK Healthy Ageing, and potentially many others).

This workshop is an opportunity for colleagues to come together, share information so everyone is up to speed on external and internal activities, and discuss potential plans, initiatives and partnerships, on research and KE, in relation to Ageing. The aim is to get positioned ready to make significant project proposals together.

The workshop will be facilitated by Alison Vipond, Sam King (RIS), Emma Barron (B&E) and Prof Glenda Cook who has been asked to lead on activities towards these significant imminent funding opportunities.

If you are unable to attend but want to register your ongoing interest, please contact Alison Vipond.
