Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition: Information Session Online
The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is an academic competition developed by The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia for research students. Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) celebrates the exciting research conducted by PhD students. The exercise cultivates students' academic, presentation, and research communication skills. The competition supports their capacity to effectively explain their research in three minutes, in a language appropriate to a non-specialist audience.
This session will provide an overview of the requirements of the Northumbria competition and how you can apply to take part.

The Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition will take place virtually w/c 8th June 2020. Deadline for entries is 5th June 2020.
This year it will be held virtually, with students recording their own videos to be judged by our panel.
This session will be held via Microsoft Teams. A link will be sent to attendees via email before the session.
