Funder Briefing: Defence and Security Accelerator with Anna Taylor, Innovation Partner, DASA Online

Energy Futures is hosting a webinar by Anna Taylor (Innovation Partner, DASA) on funding opportunities provided by the Defence and Security Accelerator. During the session Anna will give an overview of the funder, highlight open and forthcoming funding opportunities and discuss some case studies of funded projects in related areas. There will be an opportunity to ask Anna questions at the end of the presentation.

Who is DASA?

The Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) is an innovation hub for government, helping industry and academia turn ideas into innovative equipment and services for national security and military users; in order to help maintain security and military advantage over our adversaries to protect people, and to build prosperity for the UK. DASA accelerates innovation by identifying and funding the most novel and desirable ideas from industry and academia.

Who is the Host?

Anna Taylor, the Innovation Partner for the North East, Yorkshire and The Humber, is proactively seeking innovative ideas and novel research and development, that could be of benefit to Government Defence and Security stakeholders.

During this Funder Briefing event, Anna will explain to you how DASA funds novel ideas through a range of innovation competitions and the expertise that she and DASA can provide.

Who should attend and why?

DASA seeks ideas from a range of sectors - including Academia and Industry, and applicants are frequently new to DASA and may not have supplied the defence or security sectors previously. We are interested in meeting and connecting with businesses and academia, big and small from all regions and internationally. If you are curious or think your idea/project could be adapted to benefit UK Defence & Security - then come along and 'Meet DASA'.
