Perfecting Your Research Pitch Part 1 Online

Being able to describe what you do and why is an essential skill for any researcher and this workshop will help you take your communication to the next level. Learn how to turn your research into the most interesting, engaging and memorable pitch possible. Discover the hints and tips and learn a framework that will make your talk stand out from the crowd as you learn how to craft & deliver a compelling pitch. During the session researchers will capture and communicate their research and leave the session with a vivid short summary they can use to articulate their research to a range of audiences.

Participants will have 2 opportunities to pitch and use the feedback provided to improve their pitch. As part of this process they will have the chance to hear their peers pitch and learn how to analyse a pitch for its strengths and area for improvement. We’ll provide the panel with a structured feedback form for completion as they listen to each researcher. This means pitchers can receive both verbal and written feedback to improve their pitch
