This session, led by Graduate Futures, will provide insight into the variety of academic careers, covering lecturing and research posts as well as other opportunities within HE institutions.  You will hear from current employees about their experiences of life in academia. 

Aims and Objectives:  

  • Consider whether Academia is for you and how to progress

  • Explore how to market yourself in Academia

  • Ask questions and learn from each other
