This session, led by Graduate Futures (Careers), will look at the fundamental principles of creating effective written applications.

Aims and Objectives:

• Content and presentation of business and academic CVs

• Understand how to tailor your CV for different roles and employers

• Know what makes a cover letter persuasive

• Be able to match your skills to job descriptions and person specifications when completing application forms

• Ask questions and learn from each other
