Alternatives to an Academic Career In-Person

This session, led by Graduate Futures, will look at careers outside of academia and explore how to market your skills to alternative employers.

Aims and Objectives:

Consider the types of roles in which your PhD skills and experience can be applied outside of an academic environment

Understand the types of employers likely to value what you can offer

Discover resources for further exploration of potential career opportunities

Learn with and from others

Know what support is available
