DESCRIPTION:This session will introduce key terms in research philosophy 
 and how these apply to key meaning systems within research. This workshop 
 aims to provide attendees with a concept map of key philosophies informing 
 natural and social sciences and cognisance of the key elements within 
 ‘meaning systems’ that apply to their own research projects. \n\nAims 
 and Objectives:  \n\n\n	\n	Discuss the nature of knowledge and originality 
 \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Consider different philosophical paradigms appropriate to 
 your research \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Discuss with other research students the 
 nature of research and the epistemologies that underpin it \n	\n
